Honeycomb and Bee Stained Glass Taster Session

2.30pm - 5.00pm (2.5 hours)

The Majestic Theatre, 78-80 Bondgate, Darlington,  TS17 5LL. Third floor room with no lift, so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Join Sarah from Luminar Glass Studio to learn the traditional craft of Tiffany (copper foiled) stained glass. During this 2.5 hour taster session you will make a honeycomb & bee sun catcher. You will learn how to apply copper tape to pre-cut glass pieces, burnish, assemble and then solder your decorative sun catcher together. You will have the choice of leaving your solder silver, or adding black or copper patina for your finished piece. 

This workshop requires no previous experience. Sarah will guide you through step by step, ensuring you leave with a beautiful piece. Aprons and all PPE is provided, as are a full set of tools/equipment for each person. Refreshments are available to purchase from the bar. Please wear full shoes, no sandals or open toes.
