The L5P diesel trucks are some of the best that GM has ever released and right off the showroom floor, they are impressive. Edge took the Pulsar to the track to showcase the gains that you can get in a pure performance setting. They tested multiple runs both stock and on level 5 of the Pulsar. The gains were extremely impressive! With an average gain of nearly 3/4 of a second in the 1/4 mile with no changes outside of the Pulsar tune.

Note: *When physically changing ring and pinion gears in the late model GM trucks, the factory cruise control will be disabled. While the Pulsar will allow you to recalibrate the speedometer for that gear change, it will not re-activate the disabled cruise control system. GM has this feature laced into the engine calibration files and would require full ECM tuning to enable cruise again.
