At the time of release it was claimed to be the world's smallest and lightest MD recorder.
It was also said to deliver 38 hours of playback (when using both a gumstick battery and a AA battery via an external battery case).
It weighs 94 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
Due to its age it does not support MDLP.
